artsmart-online.com is a family-owned and operated website devoted to art. Frankly, we love the stuff.
We carry a huge selection of the same posters many other sites carry. So what makes us different? We have some of the lowest prices on the web, with low shipping. But wait-- there's more. We also carry one-of-a-kind pieces and original paintings not found anywhere else on the web. And we're not a huge corporation. We're not an affiliate of another poster website. We just love what we do.
We are active in the art community. You can occassionally find us volunteering at First Thursday's art event at the Orlando Museum of Art. We welcome and showcase up-and-comers, local artists, new talent and more. If you are an artist who would like to sell art on ArtSmart-Online, please contact us here.
ArtSmart was founded by me, Tracy Burke (see really, really old photo below) in 2004 with the help of my brother, Damon Burke.
In 1995, I graduated with a Fine Art Degree from the University of Central Florida. At this time, I was working at a custom frame shop for a big box retailer, where I met my husband, Ralph Verano, also an artist. After taste-testing the career gamut, including a time as a paralegal for the Federal Public Defenders office, a stretch as a custom framing trainer and Area Lead Manager for a big box retailer and as an Executive Administrative Assistant after I decided I couldn't travel 3 out of 4 weeks anymore, I said "Boy, I sure miss Art." So here we are.
My husband Ralph Verano heads our digital services department, overseeing all photo restorations, artist Zapp Application file conversions, slide duplication and all related services. He also helps me out in the frame shop.
My brother Damon Burke made this site possible. He graduated with his Masters Degree in Space
Science from
Embry Riddle Aeronautical University this past year, and has an enormous capacity to learn things very quicky. He has become my on-call tech support by default. You can learn more about Damon

The bookkeeping, frameshop, and general oversight of ArtSmart is conducted by my parents, Dorothy and Roger Burke. And thank goodness for that-- bookkeeping has never been a friend of mine.
